Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group in Augusta, GA is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our full-time school-based team. You will help students develop functional, sensory, and motor skills for classroom success.

Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists, conduct evaluations, create treatment plans, participate in IEP meetings, and document progress. Competitive benefits and relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Georgia Occupational Therapist license.
• NBCOT certification preferred.
• Experience working with children and adolescents preferred.
• School-based experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in individual and group settings.
• Support fine motor development, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, self-care, and functional life skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring.
• Maintain accurate documentation, treatment records, and progress reports.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and therapeutic strategies to support student success.
