The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our full-time school-based team in Saint Matthews and Swansea, SC. You will help students develop functional, sensory, and motor skills to succeed in the classroom and beyond, working with teachers, families, and specialists.

Responsibilities include evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, direct therapy in groups or individuals, and contributing to IEP goals with progress monitoring.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active SC LLR Occupational Therapist license
• NBCOT certification preferred
• Experience working with children and adolescents preferred
• School-based experience preferred but not required

Responsabilités

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in individual and group settings
• Support fine motor development, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, self-care, and functional life skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring
• Maintain accurate documentation, treatment records, and progress reports
• Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and therapeutic strategies to support student success
