Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our full-time school-based team in Yreka, CA. You will evaluate, design, and deliver OT services to students, supporting fine motor, sensory processing, and functional life skills within a collaborative educational setting.

You will work with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop goals aligned with IEPs and monitor progress, ensuring each student reaches their full potential in and beyond the

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active California Occupational Therapist license.
• NBCOT certification preferred.
• Experience working with children and adolescents preferred.
• School-based experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in individual and group settings
• Support fine motor development, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, self-care, and functional life skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring
• Maintain accurate documentation, treatment records, and progress reports
• Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and therapeutic strategies to support student success
