Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our full-time, school-based team in Redwood City, CA. You will help students develop functional, sensory, and motor skills for classroom success and beyond.

As part of a collaborative educational team, you will work with teachers, families, and specialists to support diverse needs and help students reach their potential. The role emphasizes evaluation, treatment planning, direct services, and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active California OT license.
• NBCOT certification preferred.
• Experience with children and adolescents preferred.
• School-based experience preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in individual and group settings
• Support fine motor development, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, self-care, and functional life skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring
• Maintain accurate documentation, treatment records, and progress reports
• Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and therapeutic strategies to support student success
