Job summary

AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide school-based services in Morris, Illinois. This full-time, onsite role covers multiple buildings and age groups, including autism programs from PreK to 22.

You will collaborate with a team to ensure continuous care during leaves and deliver individualized therapy plans. The position runs October 1, 2026 through May 26, 2027, with a 35-hour work week, $60,000–$80,000 annualized salary, and benefits including weekly pay,

Qualifications

• Active Illinois occupational therapy license through IDFPR.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
• Ability to work with students with autism and intellectual disabilities.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Flexibility to transition between buildings, age groups, and caseloads.
• Commitment to supporting students' participation and independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students across multiple school buildings and educational programs.
• Support students in the STARS Autism program, initially serving early childhood through 4th grade.
• Provide coverage for students with autism and intellectual disabilities across elementary and transition programs as caseload needs change.
• Collaborate with other occupational therapists to coordinate services and maintain continuity of care during leave coverage.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that support students' functional, developmental, sensory, and educational needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation, complete required assessments, and support IEP implementation.
• Adapt to changing assignments, caseloads, and student needs throughout the school year.
