Job summary

AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a collaborative school-based therapy team in Berwyn, IL for the 2026-2027 school year. The OT will work across PreK-8, focusing primarily on K-5, with a full-time, onsite schedule.

You will evaluate students, develop IEP-driven plans, and implement interventions for fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills, while collaborating with teachers and families to support progress.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Illinois OT license through IDFPR.
• Experience in school-based settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students across assigned school buildings.
• Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEP development.
• Develop and implement interventions for fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, and functional skills.
• Provide direct and consultative services based on student needs and IEP requirements.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related providers to support progress.
• Coordinate with district OT team to share resources and distribute caseload.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions to meet goals for each student.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the district’s IEP system.
• Schedule involves approximately 2-3 schools with one school per day, across PreK-8th grade.
