Job summary

Nobleboro Central School in Nobleboro, Maine is seeking a contracted Occupational Therapist to serve students in grades K–8.

The OT will provide services per IEPs, participate in evaluations, develop interventions, and collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers. This role offers flexible scheduling and the potential for a continuing relationship with Nobleboro Central School.

Qualifications

• Current Maine Occupational Therapist license.
• School-based experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services in accordance with students' IEPs.
• Conduct OT evaluations and participate in the evaluation process as appropriate.
• Develop and implement interventions designed to support students' educational needs.
• Collaborate with special education teachers, classroom teachers, case managers, related service providers, and families.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input regarding students' goals, accommodations, and services.
• Provide consultation and support to school staff as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress-monitoring data.
• Support students across a variety of educational settings and needs.
