Job summary

Androscoggin Home Health Services Inc. in Lewiston, ME, seeks a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to support students in a school-based setting. You will evaluate students, develop IEP-aligned treatment plans, and collaborate with teachers and families to promote independence and success.

You will hold a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, Maine OT licensure (or eligibility), and bring strong communication and organizational skills to a supportive team working within the school calendar.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Maine OT license or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating students and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Providing occupational therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs.
• Collaborating with teachers, school staff, parents, and other specialists to support student achievement.
• Recommending adaptive equipment, classroom strategies, and environmental modifications.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to a collaborative, student-centered approach to care.
