Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate student motor and sensory skills to determine eligibility for special education services.
• Evaluate motor (gross and adaptive) and sensory development to determine appropriate therapy services.
• Instruct, train, and monitor staff and parents in motor activities, accommodations, and modifications.
• Design adaptive devices to enhance independence in school.
• Participate in IFSP/IEP meetings to support educational plans.
• Monitor therapy programs using data and observation.
• Coordinate with health providers to maximize treatment effectiveness.
