Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide school-based services onsite near Apollo Beach, FL. This contract opportunity offers per diem scheduling, collaboration with educators and families, and a chance to support student growth and independence in academic and daily activities.

The role requires a Florida OT license and experience with pediatric populations and IEPs. You will evaluate, design and implement treatment plans, document progress, and participate in IEP

Qualifications

• Active Florida OT license required.
• Experience in school-based settings desirable.
• Understanding of pediatric populations and IEPs.
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage caseload paperwork efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT evaluations and interventions aligned with district goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs.
• Track and document student progress with compliance.
• Consult with teachers, staff, families to support student function.
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress review.
• Adapt activities and educational materials to promote access and participation.
