Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and must hold a current license awarded by the State of Oklahoma.
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect therapy to students with disabilities under the supervision of Occupational Therapists.
• Develops and maintains appropriate occupational therapy records (documentation, schedules, daily plans, progress notes, etc.)
• Provides training and demonstrations for maintenance of equipment and exercises to carryover goals in the school setting.
• Develops maintenance programs for students with disabilities to support therapy goals in school.
• Communicates with educational staff, parents, and other professionals about student progress.
• Participates in professional meetings and workshops related to best practices in education and occupational therapy in schools.
