Job summary

Gersh Autism is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students in Issaquah, WA. The OT will collaborate with other disciplines, review outcomes, and adjust intervention plans to meet IEP goals. Responsibilities include functional assessments, report writing, and contributing to student transition planning.

The role emphasizes clinical reasoning, safety, and evidence-based intervention, with a typical 45-session weekly caseload and school-based scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an NBCOT-recognized OT program and be NBCOT-certified.
• WA State OTR/L licensure is required for practice in Washington.
• One year of pediatric/school-based OT experience preferred.
• Must have sensory knowledge and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver occupational therapy services.
• Evaluate and profile students using varied assessments and observations.
• Develop and implement IE P goals and individualized intervention plans.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 45 30-minute sessions weekly.
• Maintain documentation and progress reports with confidentiality.
