Job summary

Ro Health, LLC is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to work in a school setting in the Greater Hammond area. The role is in-person with a M-F schedule, primarily pre-k through 12. Expect a $60/hour+ rate for qualified OTs and an ASAP start.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and administer OT interventions to improve clients' daily living independence. Benefits include PTO, health coverage, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Relevant OT experience required.
• Current IN state OT license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• State and contract-specific compliance requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental factors to understand their strengths and limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on the assessment findings; set specific and achievable goals to improve daily living independence.
• Administer occupational therapy interventions, including therapeutic activities, exercises, and adaptive techniques.
• Address cognitive challenges with therapeutic activities and exercises to improve memory, attention, problem-solving, and other cognitive skills; evaluate assistive devices as needed.
• Assist clients in transitioning back to their communities, addressing work, school, and social participation challenges.
