Job summary

Ro Health is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to work in a school setting in the Greater East Palo Alto area. The role is in-person, Monday through Friday, with a starting ASAP date and compensation at $70/hour+ for qualified OTs.

The caseload centers on pre-k through 12 at one site, with potential assignment variations. The OT will assess and plan interventions to support children's independence in daily activities, address cognitive needs, and facilitate transitions back to the

Qualifications

• Relevant OT experience in school or pediatric settings.
• Current CA state OT license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• State and contract-specific compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental factors.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with specific goals to improve independence in daily activities.
• Administer occupational therapy interventions to improve functional abilities.
• Address cognitive challenges with targeted activities to improve memory, attention and problem-solving.
• Assist clients in transitioning back to their communities post-illness or injury.
