Job summary

RCM Health Care Services is seeking school-based Occupational Therapists (OTs) to support students across New York City’s five boroughs in an onsite school setting. You will help students develop functional, motor, sensory, and daily living skills, collaborating with school teams to promote growth and independence.

The role offers flexible scheduling (full-time or part-time for the school year), ongoing clinical support and mentorship, and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with school teams and families.
• Ability to manage caseloads, maintain accurate documentation, and meet deadlines.
• Compassionate, adaptable, and student-focused approach to supporting diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students within a school-based setting.
• Deliver in-person therapy services in accordance with student IEP goals and school requirements.
• Support students with fine motor, sensory, self-regulation, visual motor, and activities of daily living skills.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions in written and/or electronic formats.
• Complete IEP documentation, progress reports, and end-of-year reports, as applicable.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with school staff, families, and other relevant team members regarding student progress and therapy plans.
