Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold Rhode Island OT license.
• Experience delivering OT services in school settings.
• Background in home health, pediatric, or healthcare OT preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEPs, evaluations, and goals for students.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support functional and academic goals.
• Implement therapy sessions using evidence-based strategies to improve motor skills, adaptive behavior, and participation.
• Maintain thorough documentation tracking progress and meeting compliance standards.
• Provide consultative support to educational staff regarding accommodations and modifications.
• Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing professional development.
