Job summary

Invo Healthcare is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our school-based services team in Glendale, AZ. You will evaluate and treat students, participate in IEP planning, and collaborate with families and school staff to promote independence and academic success.

The role emphasizes development of fine motor, sensory integration, and daily living skills, with duties aligned to state regulations and school objectives. A master’s degree and active OT licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• Active state-level licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in schools or with children is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat students to help them access the school environment, improve academic performance, and develop independence.
• Serve as a member of the IEP team for students with OT concerns.
• Build strong relationships with parents, teachers, and school administrators.
• Facilitate goals and objectives per child’s educational plan.
• Develop plans to improve classroom participation and functional school performance.
• Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living skills.
• Assist in developing plans to improve classroom participation and functional school performance.
• Conduct family training sessions when necessary.
• Perform other OT duties and responsibilities as required by the program and licensure.
