Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
• Current Massachusetts license to practice as an OT.
• Current NBCOT certification, as applicable.
• Strong understanding of the IEP process.
• Ability to work as part of an educational team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students according to IEPs.
• Develop and implement interventions to enhance classroom access and participation.
• Support fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, and functional skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other staff to integrate OT strategies.
• Recommend accommodations, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology as needed.
• Maintain documentation of services, progress, and required records.
• Participate in IEP Team meetings and eligibility determinations as appropriate.
