Job summary

KIPP Massachusetts Public Charter Schools in Boston is seeking an Occupational Therapist and an Occupational Therapist Assistant to support students with OT needs across elementary and middle grades, in both special education and general education settings. The ideal candidate will advance IEP goals and bring a commitment to social justice and cultural competency.

Required credentials include a MA license or NBCOT, a master’s degree for OT or an associate’s for OTA, and school-based experience

Qualifications

• Master’s degree for OT or Associate’s degree for OTA as applicable.
• MA license or NBCOT certification required.
• Experience in school-based OT with IEPs/504s and education laws.

Responsibilities

• Create OT session plans and run sessions (individual and small group).
• Report quarterly progress for students with IEPs and collect data.
• Support self-care goals and consult for students in general and special ed.
• Complete student evaluations when OT roles apply.
