Job summary

Adelphi is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide school OT services in Yuma, Arizona. The role focuses on evaluations, direct and consultative therapy, and IEP-related support to help students access education and improve motor skills.

The ideal candidate will have pediatric/school OT experience, licensure, and the ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and district staff within a school setting.

Qualifications

• OT license/registration for educational settings.
• Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred.
• Ability to conduct evaluations and provide direct/consultative OT services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for students.
• Provide direct and consultative OT services based on student needs.
• Develop goals, accommodations, and interventions tailored to individual students.
• Support fine motor, sensory-motor, visual-motor skills, self-care, positioning, accessibility, and participation in education.
• Monitor and document student progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and other student-related meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents/guardians, administrators, and other service providers.
• Prepare evaluation reports and maintain accurate service documentation within District timelines.
• Coordinate schedules and service delivery with District personnel across assigned school sites.
• Any other duties as assigned.
