Job summary

Easterseals Crossroads is seeking a School-based Occupational Therapist (Contractor) to provide pediatric services in school settings in Indianapolis, IN. The contractor role is about 12 hours per week with potential growth, on a 1099 basis.

The OT will evaluate, diagnose, and treat students, develop IEPs, maintain records, and coordinate with teachers and families about progress. Indiana licensure and a relevant degree are required or preferred, with school experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana license required.
• Bachelor's degree in OT required.
• Master's degree in OT preferred.
• Experience in schools is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students in school settings.
• Formulate IEPs and individualized treatment programs.
• Maintain appropriate clinical records.

Current contract needs are for approximately 12 hours/week with potential to increase .

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat students/clients, formulate IEPs and individualized treatment programs, maintain appropriate records, and communicate with teachers, parents, and members of the student's support team about progress.

Education and Experience:

• Must have a valid Indiana license to be considered
• Bachelor's degree required
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy preferred
• Experience in schools preferred but not required
