Job summary

You will collaborate with the Medical Director, manage patient care, document records, and educate families on preventive care within school policy. Requires LA licensure and a valid DEA, with bilingual ability preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice in Louisiana as an APN or PA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; bilingual preferred.
• Valid DEA license or eligibility to obtain one before employment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to adolescents and children within school health center policies.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and health team in patient evaluation and care.
• Document medical evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, referrals, and outcomes.
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice and protocol.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care and treatment plans.
• Maintain confidential health records and ensure proper referrals when needed.
