Job summary

PRO Companies' school division PRO Pediatric Services seeks a School-Based Outpatient Therapist to provide services at a local intermediate unit in Nanticoke, PA. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm, serving K-12 students and delivering direct individual and family therapy.

Master's degree in a clinical discipline such as social work, psychology, counseling, or related field and completion of a clinical internship are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a clinical discipline such as social work, psychology, counseling or related mental health field
• Completion of a clinical internship is required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services to clients and their families, including individual and family counseling
• Utilize school and community resources related to a client’s mental health needs to achieve maximum benefit
• Prepare up-to-date and accurate documentation in accordance with Outpatient Regulations
• Provide assessments and intake information to determine the need and level of services
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans and interventions to improve client functioning
• Promote client advocacy and care coordination through coordination of care meetings and collaboration with agencies and schools
