Job summary

Neighborcare Health in Seattle, WA seeks a School-Based Mental Health Therapist at Mercer Middle School. This full-time, on-site role provides individual, family, and group therapy to students, with a focus on strengths-based approaches and collaboration with school staff.

Requires a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field and active WA licensure (LICSW/LMFT/LMHC). Compensation includes PTO, holidays, retirement with match, and employee assistance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in related field required.
• Active WA licensure (LICSW/LMFT/LMHC) required and ability to independently bill for services.
• Experience in school-based mental health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, strengths-based services to clients per contract and productivity expectations.
• Assist students, parents and school staff to remove psychosocial barriers to healthy functioning and academics.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy; case management; classroom presentations; psycho-educational services.
• Participate in school-wide interventions and coordinate with internal and external care providers.
