Job summary

State of South Carolina is seeking a Mental Health Professional I/School-Based in Marion County to provide school-based counseling and evidence-based services. You will develop treatment plans, support recovery, and deliver services in schools with possible community/clinic work during breaks.

Minimum requirements include a master’s degree in counseling or related field and licensure within one year; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in guidance, counseling, or the social sciences or a related field.
• Must be licensed or able to become licensed as LMSW, LMFT, or LPC within the first year.
• Must qualify for credentialing and privileging as a mental health professional.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care hours as outlined on employee performance planning.
• Deliver evidence-based services to promote recovery in the school setting.
• Develop and implement treatment plans; guide clients in skills toward good mental health.
• Complete clinical documentation and ensure QA/OMH standards.
• Participate in supervision, meetings, and professional development.
