Meridian Health Services in Indiana is seeking a full-time School Based Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in a school-based clinic. You will assist in delivering primary health care, triage patients, take vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and support providers during exams, while adhering to safety and infection-control protocols.

You must graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program, certification preferred, and have six months to a year of clinic

Competenze

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Six months to one year of work experience, preferably in a clinic setting.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting Meridian's policy.

Mansioni

• Assist patients with flow through the clinic and escort to exam rooms.
• Take vital signs and prepare patients for assessment.
• Prepare exam rooms and instruments for examination and testing; maintain supplies.
• Sterilize instruments and ensure infection-control guidelines are followed.
• Assist providers with minor diagnostic procedures and treatments as directed.
• Triage walk-in patients and call-ins; log and track patient information.
