Job summary

Eleutheria is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for a part-time, school-based role in San Diego, CA for the 2026-2027 school year. The position centers on direct student care and coordination of follow-up healthcare with community providers.

You will monitor vitals, administer medications, assist with activities of daily living, collect lab samples, perform wound care, and maintain meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• Current LVN license in California (CA)
• First Aid and CPR Certification required
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance required
• Valid California driver’s license and insurability

Responsibilities

• Vital signs monitoring and interpretation.
• Medication administration and injections.
• Daily living support including bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Lab sample collection and basic procedures.
• Wound care and dressing changes.
• Maintain meticulous patient records.
• Communicate care plans with patients and families.
• Collaborate with RNs and doctors during procedures.
• Observe patients and report changes promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment.
