Job summary

Onward Education is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the upcoming school year in Berks County, Pennsylvania. This on-site role supports students with various health needs within a school setting and is a full-time position with a set weekly schedule.

The LPN will administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with RNs and school staff to follow health protocols. Start date is 09/18/2026 and end date 05/28/2027, with Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 3:30 pm shifts.

Qualifications

• LPN license issued in Pennsylvania.
• Experience supporting students in medical or school settings preferred.
• Ability to perform routine medical tasks independently.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor vital signs regularly.
• Assist students with chronic health conditions, including managing medical devices and performing blood sugar checks.
• Support RNs in health-related procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide direct care to students with complex medical needs.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure health protocols are followed.
