Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support students in the Yelm, Washington area. The role involves providing individualized nursing care to students with medical needs throughout the school day and following Healthcare plans.

This full-time school-based position offers a consistent Mon–Fri schedule, ASAP start, W-2 employment with liability insurance, healthcare benefits, a 401(k) with company match, and reimbursement for licensure and CEUs.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State LPN license or qualifying multistate license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience supporting children with medical needs preferred.
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support to students during the school day.
• Monitor students’ health and respond to medical needs.
• Follow individualized healthcare and emergency care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as assigned.
• Collaborate with families, school staff, and healthcare providers.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Support students’ safe participation in school activities.
• Assist with transportation needs when required by the assignment.
