Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing near Stafford, VA is hiring school-based Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for full-time day shifts (37.5 hours/week) to support students and staff in a supportive educational environment.

You will provide direct nursing care per individualized health plans, assist with complex health needs, bus rides, and maintain accurate documentation, while collaborating with teachers and families to ensure a safe, inclusive learning day.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia LPN license required.
• School or pediatric LPN experience is a plus.
• Comfortable with bus riding, seizure intervention, diabetes care, g-tube and trach support, toileting, and diapering.
• Strong communication with educators, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Reliable, professional, and adaptable to evolving assignments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care per individualized health plans.
• Provide medical support for students with complex health needs (seizures, glucose monitoring, feeding, respiratory care).
• Accompany students on bus routes as needed and ensure safe transportation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and observations throughout the school day.
• Support teachers and staff in maintaining a healthy, inclusive learning environment.
