Job summary

Professional Services Group & Community Impact Programs is seeking a Wisconsin-licensed school-based mental health therapist for West Allis/West Milwaukee district schools and surrounding counties. The role focuses on individual, group, and family therapy within K-12 settings, with flexible hours, mostly Monday–Friday during the school year.

The position requires a master's degree in a relevant field and state licensure (LPC/LCSW).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in clinical mental health, social work, psychology or related field.
• Must have licensure to provide mental health therapy in Wisconsin (LPC or LCSW).
• Experience with school-based mental health services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess therapeutic needs and complete formal assessments.
• Create and review treatment plans and provide psychotherapy.
• Intervene in emergencies/crises as an advocate for clients.
• Address family systems, mental health, parenting, and substance use issues through counseling.
• Organize and facilitate group, individual, or family activities.
• Provide consultation to school staff and coordinate with service providers.
