Job summary

Wellpoint Care Network seeks a Clinical Therapist - School Based Mental Health to deliver strength-based, trauma-informed therapy in school and community settings across Greater Milwaukee. You will provide individual, family, and group therapy, and collaborate with families, schools, and communities to develop and implement treatment plans.

The role requires a Master’s in social work or related field, relevant licensure, and at least two years of post-master’s experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field is required.
• LPC-IT, LMFT-IT, APSW, or ATR-P licensure required; other licenses considered.
• Two years post-master’s experience in individual, child, group and family therapy preferred.
• Must have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proficient in computer software: MS Office, Excel, Outlook, Teams, ADP.

Responsibilities

• Direct Therapy Services: provides individual, family and group therapy to youth in school-based settings.
• Consultation and support: assessments and recommendations; build relationships with schools and community contacts.
• Community Collaboration: connect clients with community resources and supports.
• Teacher Consultation/Classroom Support: in-classroom support and collaboration with teachers/school counselors.
• Professionalism: commitment to quality improvement and agency standards; active participation in initiatives.
• Agency Engagement: participate in meetings, required events, and coverage duties.
