Nyman Associates is seeking a Licensed Social Worker for school-based support in the Wilmington area. You will help students navigate emotional, behavioral, and social challenges within a school setting, collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators.

Qualifications

• MSW from an accredited program is required.
• State licensure as a social worker (LSW/LCSW or equivalent) or School Counselor certificate through the Pennsylvania Department of Education is required.
• Experience working with children/adolescents in a school or similar setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counseling and support for students.
• Assessment and evaluation of student needs.
• Crisis intervention as needed.
• Parent and family engagement facilitation.
• Prevention and education to promote mental health and social-emotional skills.
• Resource referrals and coordination with school resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of interactions and interventions.
