Job summary

Dreams 2 Reality Recruitment is seeking School-Based Social Workers to provide counseling, intervention, and support services that help NYC students thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. You will conduct individual and group counseling, assess needs, develop intervention plans, and work with teachers, families, and agency teams to support students' well-being.

MSW and NY LCSW license are required; strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
• Active New York State LCSW license required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience with children or adolescents in school or clinical settings preferred.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with school and agency teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans.
• Support students with social-emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and agency teams.
• Maintain accurate case notes and clinical documentation.
• Prepare annual IEP reports and session documentation.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with students and school communities.
