Job summary

Miriam School and Learning Center is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Diagnostician for the 2026-2027 school year to perform private evaluations across multiple school levels in Webster Groves. This PRN position offers after-school and evening hours, up to 29 hours weekly, with compensation per completed report or at $48 per hour.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work required; LCSW licensed in Missouri.
• 2 years of experience evaluating children and adolescents for mental health issues; strong DSM-5-TR knowledge.
• Proficient with technology; able to submit reports timely; transportation to various St. Louis area schools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial evaluations in private settings to diagnose ADHD, anxiety, depression and other DSM-5-TR disorders.
• Diagnose disorders using the DSM-5-TR manual.
• Conduct diagnostic interviews and observations with clients and parents, interview teachers as needed, and distribute and score rating scales.
• Write professional reports with results, interpretations, and recommendations.
• Complete reports within DESE timeframes when required.
• Facilitate report review meetings with parents and school personnel.
• Review psycho-educational reports and render DSM-5-TR diagnoses, including Specific Learning Disorders.
• Collaborate with school psychologists, speech/language pathologists, and occupational therapists.
• Make mental health recommendations to school psychologists for reports.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
