Job summary

Miriam Learning Center in Webster Groves, MO seeks a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Diagnostician for the 2026-2027 school year. This PRN role provides after-school and evening evaluations for students across preschool to college, earning per completed report or an hourly rate.

Responsibilities include psychosocial evaluations, DSM-5-TR diagnoses, and professional report writing; collaboration with school staff; flexibility to travel to various schools within the St. Louis area.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work is required.
• LCSW license in Missouri is required.
• 2 years of experience evaluating children/adolescents for mental health issues.
• Good understanding of DSM-5-TR diagnoses.
• Proficient with technology.
• Transportation to various schools within the St. Louis area.
• Ability to submit reports using a personal computer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial evaluations in a private setting to diagnose ADHD, anxiety, depression and other DSM-5-TR disorders.
• Diagnose disorders using the DSM-5-TR manual.
• Conduct diagnostic interviews and observations with clients and their parents, interview teachers as needed, and distribute and score rating scales as part of a comprehensive Psycho-Social Evaluation.
• Write professional reports, including assessment results and interpretation, with diagnostic impressions and recommendations.
• Complete reports within DESE specified time periods when necessary.
• Facilitate report review meetings with parents and/or school personnel.
• Review psycho-educational reports and render DSM-5-TR diagnoses, including Specific Learning Disorders.
• Collaborate with school psychologists, speech/language pathologists, and occupational therapists also conducting evaluations with the same child.
• Make mental health recommendations to school psychologists to add to psycho-educational reports.
• Other duties as set by the supervisor.
