Job summary

Independent School District 15 is hiring for Kids Connection Instructor at Cedar Creek Elementary School (K-5). The position runs mornings and afternoons with hours 7:00am-8:45am and 3:30pm-4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Date available 09/08/2026 for 170 duty days in the 2026-27 school year.

The role is a continuing position with 1,020+ hours per year benefit eligibility. Salary ranges from $18.50 to $18.87 per hour, depending on qualifications, under the Unaffiliated Work Agreement.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with challenging behaviors.
• Skilled in positive behavior intervention.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Training related to child development, guidance, communication.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to assist with personal care and hygiene as required.

Responsibilities

• Work with students with challenging behaviors to support learning.
• Help establish a safe, engaging environment for social, physical and intellectual development.
• Participate in development of procedures to support special needs students.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene as needed.
