Central Bucks School District is seeking a Community School Instructor for Before/After Care across district-wide elementary schools. This part-time role supports the Child Care Program with supervision, activities, and care for children before and after school.
The position runs 6:55 am–8:55 am and 3:00 pm–6:00 pm for the 2026/2027 school year; requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and the ability to lift up to 10 lbs and work outdoors as needed.

The Community School Before & After Care Instructor plans and directs activities, provides instruction and care for children in a wide variety of duties in support of the Child Care Program within the program space, gym, and playground, as assigned, directed and supervised by a child care supervisor. The Instructor directly assists the supervisor in daily operations of the program.
Must work as a team member and exercise good judgement, prioritize tasks and communicate effectively with team members.
Candidates must have patience and enjoy working with children. Must be able to stand for periods of time. Must be able to stand, walk/run and lift 10lbs.
Prior experience working with children is preferred.
Bachelor's degree from accredited four-year college or university in early childhoodeducation, child development, special education, elementary or secondary education or the human services field.

Sitting, standing for long periods, bending, lifting, walking and be able to work outside in various weather conditions.
