Job summary

Oakland Human Resources Consortium is seeking a Non-Certified Student Support Services/Before/After School Care assistant to help develop daily activities for children aged 4-12. You’ll support program development, planning, and documentation, while building positive relationships with staff and parents.

The role emphasizes hands-on activities, safety, and reliable, creative support in an unstructured environment, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a wage of $17.98 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing programs which provide daily activities for children ages 4-12.
• Assist in planning daily activities including games, art & craft projects, physical activities, snacks.
• Assist in keeping records and documentation; assist in evaluating the program.
• Assist in developing positive relationships with elementary staff and parents.
• Communicate with parents, building staff and supervisor.
• Assist in planning and executing recreational activities.

• Assist in planning and providing a daily variety of materials/activities including games, art & craft projects, physical activities, snacks.
• Assist in keeping records and documentation.
• Assist in evaluating the program.
• Assist in the development of a positive working relationship with elementary building staff and parents.
• Communicate with parents, building staff and Kids Connection Supervisor.

Salary & Schedule:
