Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking an exceptional children job coach assistant to support the assigned teacher and help students in employment activities under the OC S curriculum.

You will work on site at district premises for a 9-month term, assisting with planning, data collection, and coordination with job sites and staff. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate's degree in Education preferred or equivalent.
• In Title I settings, may require additional education or PD credits.
• Two years working with school age children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to laws, policies, and procedures.
• Work with individual students or small groups in CBT and paid employment.
• Assist in planning and setting up employment activities.
• Observe and support student behavior and maintain behavior plans.
• Monitor student performance and communicate with staff.
