Delta-T Group Virginia, Inc. seeks an Instructional Aide to support K-12 students in the Northern Virginia area for the 26-27 school year. Compensation starts at $19+ per hour.

The role involves co-teaching, modifications, and one-on-one support, with emphasis on students with special needs and autism. Responsibilities include progress reporting, supervision, and collaboration with teachers and parents. This contractor position offers flexibility, weekly payroll, and opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Associates Degree, 60+ credit hours, or paraprofessional certification.
• Minimum 6 months working with children.
• Experience in Autism and multicultural settings serving youth.

Responsibilities

• Use effective lesson delivery techniques to instruct students and facilitate discussions in multiple subjects.
• Collaborate with the general education teacher to modify and co-teach lesson plans.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group support for academic tasks, behavior, and social skills.
• Complete attendance, progress reports, and required documentation.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, meals, and school events.
• Provide instructional support to students with special needs and necessary accommodations.
• Communicate with students, teachers, and parents about student needs and progress.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with students and staff.
