Big Smiles is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to support in-school dental care for underserved children in St. Louis, MO and surrounding areas. The position follows a school-day schedule with no evenings or weekends and involves daily travel to multiple school sites.

Qualified candidates will hold an X-ray license, CPR certification, and experience with digital radiography. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel as needed, with a team-focused, caring

Qualifications

• X-ray License is required.
• Digital X-ray Imaging experience required.
• Coronal Polishing is preferred but not required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Work experience as a Dental Assistant is required.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation; willingness to travel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Dental assisting during mobile clinics.
• Digital X-ray Imaging.
• Patient records charting.
• Equipment setup, breakdown and sterilization assistance.
• Daily travel to school sites.
