Job summary

Tech9 is seeking a Drug Resource Specialist to deliver prevention, education and counseling services on campus and through school referrals. The role requires building positive relationships with staff and families, and providing data-driven reports to support program objectives.

The incumbent will conduct individual, group and family counseling, lead trainings, and coordinate prevention activities with community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work required.
• Two years related work experience preferred; combination of education and experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group and family counseling for youth and families.
• Delivers drug and alcohol trainings/presentations.
• Coordinates and participates in prevention activities at school and community.
• Generates and reports data for agency and school use.
• Promotes drug- and alcohol-free choices and cultural awareness.
