Job summary

Orange Tree Staffing, LLC seeks a bright Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide education-based therapy services to students in Sarasota for the 2026/2027 school year. The role serves preschool through high school populations in in-person sessions within Sarasota County Public Schools.

The position offers both Part-Time and Full-Time opportunities, with responsibilities including screenings, data collection, implementing intervention plans, collaboration with teachers and families,

Qualifications

OTA licensure required to practice in school settings.
Experience with pediatric or educational therapy is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Assist in administering screenings and collecting data under OT supervision.
Support implementation of individualized intervention plans.
Provide therapy to improve daily living skills, motor coordination, and sensory processing.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate OT strategies in classroom routines.
Document student progress and maintain accurate records for IEP meetings.
