Job summary

Qualifications

• Current COTA certification
• Active Illinois COTA license
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, educators, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities based on student needs and IEP goals
• Support students in developing functional skills related to fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-care, and classroom participation
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and families as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Document services and maintain accurate student records
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress updates as appropriate
• Provide services in accordance with district requirements and applicable state regulations
