Responsibilities

• Assess students and plan interventions to maximize functioning and independence.
• Participate in ARD meetings to support assessment interpretation and goal setting.
• Evaluate progress and determine readiness for termination of OT services in consultation with supervising OT.
• Design, construct, and modify adaptive equipment to promote student independence.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators on OT needs and programming.
• Provide staff training on adaptive equipment use.
• Maintain auditable student records and reports in compliance with district policies.
