Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based, on-site role near Corona, CA. You will work with OTs to support student assessments and daily therapy tasks, collaborating with educators and families.

Qualifications

• Active California COTA license required.
• Previous school-based experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of pediatric OT strategies and interventions preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.
• Willingness to work onsite at an assigned location (site assigned after interview).
• Flexibility and adaptability to varying caseload needs.
• Must meet any district or state-specific requirements applicable to COTAs.

Responsibilities

• Support OTs in delivering occupational therapy services tailored to students needs.
• Assist with a high volume of upcoming assessments as part of the therapy team.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote student participation and inclusion.
• Document progress and activities in compliance with school and state guidelines.
• Engage with families and provide insights on therapy strategies when appropriate.
