Job summary

HealthPRO Heritage, including its HealthPro Pediatrics division, is seeking a School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Covington, GA. This W-2, full-time role offers $40 per hour and a 37.5 hour work week in a middle school and elementary setting.

You will deliver individualized therapy under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, monitor progress, document records, and collaborate with PT, OT, nursing teams to support students’ daily living skills and independence.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• NBCOT certification as COTA.
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Experience in an occupational therapy setting (hospital, clinic, school, etc.) preferred, new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapy under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress and maintain records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and educate patients and families.
• Lead or assist therapeutic activities and support daily living skills.
