Job summary

Boothby Therapy Services in Exeter, NH is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students in a school-based setting for the 2026–2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current New Hampshire OTA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions based on established plans of care.
• Help students strengthen fine-motor, visual-motor, sensory-processing, self-regulation, and daily living skills.
• Integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines and school activities.
• Adapt activities and interventions to meet each student’s individual needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school teams.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Create encouraging, student-centered sessions that build confidence and independence.
