Job summary

SAU 16's Exeter School District is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the Main Street School special education team in Exeter, serving students in grades K-2.

The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide OT services, support student participation, and address developmental, sensory, fine motor, self-regulation and functional needs in the school setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold certification as a certified occupational therapy assistant.
• Experience supporting students with developmental and sensory needs.
• Strong writing and grammar skills; proficient with word processing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction and progress monitoring for students.
• Assist with record-keeping to document students' abilities.
• Produce accurate progress reports based on data.
• Collaborate with related services staff and families.
